Welcome to Sayyar. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Sayyar website, mobile application, and related services. By accessing or using the Sayyar platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

Sayyar operates as a digital platform that connects customers with licensed car rental showrooms and fleet partners across Saudi Arabia. The Sayyar website is primarily intended for rental businesses and partnership inquiries, while customer bookings and vehicle rentals are conducted through the Sayyar mobile application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Sayyar’s website, mobile application, or services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately. Sayyar reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

2. Platform Nature & Role

Sayyar is a technology platform that connects customers with licensed rental showrooms and fleet operators.

Sayyar:

  • Does not own vehicles listed on the platform
  • Does not directly provide car rental services
  • Does not act as a transport operator
  • Acts solely as a digital marketplace and service facilitator

All vehicle rentals are fulfilled directly by the respective rental partner. Any rental agreement entered into is between the customer and the rental partner.

3. Eligibility to Use the Platform

For Rental Partners (Website Users)

Only licensed rental showrooms, car rental companies, and approved fleet operators may register or list vehicles on Sayyar.

By registering, partners confirm:

  • They are legally registered businesses
  • They hold valid operational licenses
  • Vehicles listed are legally owned or managed
  • All provided information is accurate and updated

Sayyar reserves the right to verify, approve, or reject any partner application.

For Customers (Mobile App Users)

Customers must:

  • Be legally eligible to drive in Saudi Arabia
  • Provide valid identification and driving documents
  • Use vehicles responsibly and lawfully

4. Partner Obligations

Partners are fully responsible for:

  • Vehicle condition
  • Customer handling
  • Insurance coverage
  • Fines, damages, or legal issues related to vehicles

Rental partners using Sayyar agree to:

  • Maintain valid business and vehicle documentation
  • Provide accurate pricing and vehicle details
  • Ensure vehicles are safe, insured, and roadworthy
  • Honor confirmed bookings
  • Maintain professional service standards
  • Comply with Saudi transport and commercial laws

Sayyar reserves the right to suspend or remove partners who fail to meet standards.

5. Listings & Availability

Partners must ensure:

  • Vehicle listings are accurate and updated
  • Pricing and availability are correct
  • Images and descriptions reflect actual vehicle condition

Sayyar may modify or remove listings that:

  • Contain false information
  • Violate policies
  • Harm platform reputation
  • Breach legal requirements

6. Bookings & Transactions

All bookings are processed through the Sayyar mobile application.

Rental partners agree that:

  • Booking confirmations must be honored
  • Cancellation policies must be transparent
  • Pricing must remain consistent once confirmed
  • Additional charges must be clearly disclosed

Sayyar may assist in dispute resolution but is not liable for partner-customer disputes.

7. Payments & Fees

Payments may be processed through secure third-party payment gateways

Depending on platform structure:

  • Sayyar may charge service or commission fees
  • Payment settlement timelines may apply
  • Partners agree to applicable platform charges

All financial terms between Sayyar and partners may be governed by separate partner agreements where applicable.

8. Platform Conduct & Restrictions

Users and partners must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt to bypass the platform
  • Use Sayyar for unlawful activities
  • Interfere with platform functionality
  • Copy or misuse Sayyar branding or content
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems

Violation may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Sayyar’s website and application including logos, design, text, technology, and branding is the exclusive property of Sayyar.

No content may be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

All personal and business data is handled according to Sayyar’s Privacy Policy.

By using Sayyar, users and partners consent to:

  • Platform-related notifications

Sayyar implements reasonable security measures to protect information.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sayyar shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of business or revenue
  • Technical interruptions or downtime

Sayyar provides the platform “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted service.

12. Suspension & Termination

Sayyar may suspend or terminate access without notice if:

  • False information is provided
  • Terms are violated
  • Fraud or misuse is suspected
  • Legal or regulatory risks arise
  • Platform integrity is threatened

Accounts may be permanently removed where necessary.

13. Indemnification

Partners agree to indemnify and hold Sayyar harmless from claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from:

  • Vehicle issues
  • Customer disputes
  • Regulatory violations
  • Misrepresentation
  • Negligence or misconduct

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Any disputes arising from platform use shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Saudi Arabia.

15. Updates to Terms

Sayyar may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The updated version will be posted on the website with the effective date.

Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of revised terms.
